Reached the village of Santa Caterina 1734 m, follow the carriage road that leads to Albergo dei Forni (2178 m), which is provided of a big parking lot.
Leave the car and walk first past Rifugio Pizzini and then by Lakes Cedec (start of the air cableway). From here follow the trail #28 to Rifugio Casati. Estimated time 3.30 hours.
Possibility of car hire with a jeep up to Lakes of Cedec (2830mt). Then follow the trail #28 to the refuge.
The RED trail is the old track (NOT ACCESSIBLE).
The YELLOW trail is the NEW AND ONLY track to follow .
Estimated time 0.30 hour by jeep with and the 0.40/1.00 hour of foot.
